Instacart
Instacart is great right? It gives us the opportunity to save time and hassle by staying home. But that convenience comes with a steep price. One, that I’m not frequently willing to pay. That’s why when someone posted about this Instacart I was all in. I have been trying it for several months and I am thrilled to share it with you.
Costco
Costco sells Instacart gift cards, a $100 costs $79.99 at Costco. You can purchase these in store or at Costco.com. Now the steps I utilize to make this a win are:
- Buy the Instacart giftcard from Costco.
- Load the giftcard to my Instacart account.
- Make a Costco purchase through Instacart.
- Save, Save, Save
Generally my extra taxes and fees are offset by the $20 I saved in purchasing the giftcard through Costco. This has been a lifesaver for me on days I just can’t make it to our Costco.
Cautions
The savings have been consistent with larger orders, closer to the $100 mark, or more. I would just caution that the savings may not work out as well with multiple small orders.
What questions do you have? Will you try this?
